How to use the online image editor

Use this local instrument when an image needs a fast, deliberate pass before it enters an interface. Import the file, inspect dimensions and pixels, tune the image, select a crop, then export the rendered result without sending pixels to a processing queue.

01 / SAMPLE

Inspect the signal

Read dimensions, format, transparency, and the active preview at a useful scale before the image moves into a design or development workflow.

02 / TUNE

Tune the preview

Set rotation, flip state, brightness, contrast, saturation, zoom, background, or a square crop in the same local buffer.

03 / EXPORT

Keep the workflow local

Choose PNG, WebP, or JPG and export the rendered canvas. The source never leaves the browser tab.

ImgPlayground FAQ

7 ANSWERS
01What is ImgPlayground’s online image editor?

ImgPlayground is a browser-based image editor for opening an image, inspecting its details, making quick visual edits, and exporting a rendered result. The current workbench includes crop, zoom, rotation, flip, brightness, contrast, saturation, and preview-background controls.

02How do I crop an image in ImgPlayground?

Choose Adjust crop, then drag the selected frame or its lower-right handle. Pixels outside the frame are shaded while you edit, and they are excluded from the downloaded image. Undo and redo controls let you step through crop changes.

03Which image formats can I export?

You can export the rendered canvas as PNG, WebP, or JPG. The selected crop, rotation, flip state, brightness, contrast, saturation, and output width are applied to the downloaded image.

04Are uploaded images processed locally?

The current import, preview, adjustment, inspection, and export workflow runs in the browser session. Images selected from your device are not sent to an account-upload or cloud-save workflow by this tool. Review your deployment and browser policies for sensitive files.

05Which image files can I open?

The import control accepts browser-supported image files, including common PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, and AVIF files. A browser may support additional image formats, but preview and export behavior depends on the browser and the file’s codec support.

06Can I inspect image pixels before exporting?

Yes. Use Pixel Check to sample colors and estimate transparent pixels from the current rendered canvas before you export it.

07How do I reset image adjustments?

Use the reset control in the workbench to return rotation, zoom, brightness, contrast, saturation, flip state, and preview background to their initial values for the current canvas session.
